Supplier CSV example
Download the original CSV and the updated CSV, or choose “Try CSV sample” in the workbench. Select sku as the exact key and compare all columns. Product 001 changes price from 12.00 to 14.40 and stock from 45 to 40. Product 002 changes price from 18.00 to 16.20. Product 003 is removed, 007 is added, and 004 and 005 are unchanged.
SKU 006 is duplicated in the original file, so all records with that key remain conflicts. The original row with a blank SKU is also a conflict. The report must not select one duplicate as a winner.
Whole-workbook example
Download the original workbook and the updated workbook. Choose “Try workbook sample”, review matching options and select “Compare all worksheets”. The three-sheet example produces two changed rows, one added row and four unchanged rows across the workbook. This mode pairs rows by a shared key of one to three identifier columns only when it is populated and unique in both sheets; otherwise unique identical values and formulas pair across row order, while edited or duplicate rows use nearest source position. Large unmatched sections use source order. The report identifies the method used for each sheet.
Check your result
Review source row references and the before/after fields. CSV downloads escape spreadsheet formula prefixes; JSON retains exact original strings. Keep your original files when reviewing a business change.
