About CSV Review
CSV Review is the service brand used for the file comparison software at csvdifftool.xyz. These terms cover your use of the comparison tool, your account and saved work. For service questions or a request about these terms, email mysave@qq.com or visit Contact support.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have permission to act for that organization and process its files. The Privacy Policy explains how the service handles information.
Free access and Pro availability
The Free beta is available now. Checkout is in Sandbox testing only; no real money is charged and no paid subscription is offered.
The Free plan lets you compare files and download results without an account. A verified account can save 10 comparison rule profiles and 25 reports. New Free reports expire after seven days. Pro provides 100 rule profiles, 250 reports and 90-day retention for newly saved reports when that plan is available. Both plans have the same processing limits and export formats. Batch jobs, scheduled comparisons, shared team accounts and store or ERP integrations are not included.
Free access never converts automatically into a paid subscription. Creating an account, verifying an email address or reaching a save limit does not authorize a charge. See Pricing for availability and the price presented before purchase.
Accounts and permitted use
Use an email address you control and keep your password private. Email verification is required to save or retrieve account work and to start a subscription. You are responsible for files you submit and for having the rights or permissions needed to process them. Do not upload unlawful material, use the service to breach someone else's rights, bypass access controls or resource limits, or interfere with other users.
You keep your rights in your files. You allow the service to process them to perform your comparison and, only when you choose to save a report, to store the resulting evidence under the retention rules below. The service does not claim ownership of your business data.
What the software delivers
CSV Review compares CSV and TSV text or XLS, XLSX and ODS workbooks and produces a review report. CSV and TSV support UTF-8, UTF-16 LE/BE, Windows-1252 and Latin-1; supported separators include comma, tab, semicolon and pipe. You can match by an exact key, a composite key or complete row values. A whole-workbook review also supports the documented worksheet and row-matching rules, including position-based fallback where identity is ambiguous. Review the matching method before relying on a result.
Each file is limited to 20 MiB, 50,000 data rows, 80 columns and 10,000 characters per cell. XLSX and ODS archives may expand to 32 MiB. A selected worksheet is limited to 500,000 populated cells. Whole-workbook comparison checks up to 100 worksheets and 500,000 populated cells per file. Complete report evidence is limited to 64 MiB; Excel report export is available for reports under 8 MiB. Oversized inputs are rejected without silently truncating them. XLSM, PDF, OCR and fuzzy matching are not supported.
Spreadsheet formulas are never recalculated. Saved results may be missing or stale; formula-text comparison is available when both inputs are workbooks. A missing record does not prove a product was discontinued. Reports are evidence for human review, not destination-specific import templates or automatic changes to your systems. Keep your original files and check results before making business decisions.
Purchases, delivery and renewals
When paid checkout is available, purchases are processed by Paddle as the merchant of record. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply to that purchase in addition to these service terms. The confirmed price, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes appear in Paddle Checkout before you authorize payment.
Pro is delivered digitally to the CSV Review account that starts checkout. A payment screen or return page alone does not activate it: the application must receive and verify the subscription with Paddle. Review your entitlement in your workspace. If you have a receipt but no access, refresh the subscription status and contact support with the transaction reference; do not create a second purchase to resolve a delay.
A recurring subscription renews for the billing interval you accepted until you cancel it. Sandbox test periods do not establish a paid subscription. There is no automatic paid conversion from the Free plan and no trial charge unless a separate trial is explicitly shown and accepted in checkout. Future price changes are subject to the applicable purchase terms and required notices.
Limits, cancellation and saved work
There are no automatic overage charges. If your profile or report allowance is full, delete an item before saving another. Comparison and downloads remain available within the shared processing limits.
You can cancel future renewals through the Paddle billing portal, available from your workspace or your Paddle receipt. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the paid period leaves Pro active until that effective time. Once cancellation or a pause takes effect, payment is past due, or the confirmed period has expired, Free save limits apply. An approved payment update can restore the appropriate allowance after the server confirms it.
Existing reports keep the expiry date set when they were saved. Changing or canceling a plan neither extends their expiry nor immediately deletes unexpired reports. You can retrieve, export or delete your unexpired reports even when you are over the current save allowance. Download any evidence you need to keep.
Account deletion is separate from cancellation. Cancel a subscription and let the cancellation take effect before deleting its account. An unresolved payment must also be resolved first so that the account is not removed while a charge is being confirmed. See Cancellation and refunds.
Availability and responsibility
The service is a beta and may change or be temporarily unavailable. File complexity and available resources can affect processing; an error or resource limit is not permission to bypass safeguards. Do not use the service as your only copy of important records or upload sensitive production data to the beta.
We may restrict use that is unlawful, abusive or creates a security risk. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every file, or a particular business outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. A material problem with a paid service may be raised through the support and refund routes below.
Questions, refunds and changes to these terms
Read the Cancellation and Refund Policy for payment disputes, technical delivery problems and requests. The date above identifies this version of the service terms. Changes will be published on this page; the purchase terms and mandatory rights applicable to an existing transaction continue to apply.
